Our Nepalese holidays are for all ages and physical abilities.
We offer varied non cycling activities for relaxation, rejuvenation, cultural and spiritual enjoyment.
The road leisure tour includes an elephant safari based at a jungle lodge and opportunities to explore Nepalese and Tibetan art, craft, culture and spirituality. As well as the awesome mountain flight included in the itinerary, there is a chance to paraglide, boat on the lake, swim and trek.
Consultations with an Ayurvedic doctor, dietary advice and traditional Ayurvedic massage treatments are available at your hotel in Kathmandu.
Visits to many sacred sites, ancient architectural wonders, Buddhist monasteries, temples and Buddha's birthplace are included, if you wish we can arrange meetings with Buddhist monks and practitioners.
Your hotels are selected for their beauty, comfort and location, you and your friends or family can swim and relax by the pool and dine al fresco while taking in the views.
The road cycle tour is accompanied at all times by back up transport, a comfortable coach where you can load up your bike and enjoy the natural beauty, snacks and drinks at leisure. When you are tired of pedalling just climb on the bus, cycle for as long as you like – or not at all.
We have chosen a beautiful, scenic route taking in spectacular landscapes and diverse flora and fauna. There is no extreme performance or high endurance cycling involved, none of the roads exceeds 2,400 metres in altitude and there is no danger of altitude related discomfort or sickness. We cycle on metalled roads, not tracks.
Any non cycling participants, adults or children, can experience stunning landscapes and cultural diversity from the coach, joining the cyclists en route for traditional meals, picnics in the jungle and the many non cycling activities on the itinerary.
